The Kentucky Center for the Performing Arts is showcasing the KentuckyShow! this month. Ashley Judd, a Kentucky native and beloved actor by many, narrates this multi-media event.
The Kentucky Center’s website boasts that this show is a “first-see” for visitors to Kentucky and a “must-see” for those of us who live here. The show, which runs thirty minutes long, features high-definition video footage of the state as well as interviews of Kentucky residents.
The showtimes through the end of January are:
Tuesday through Saturday: 11 a.m., 1 p.m., 3 p.m.
Sunday: 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.
Monday: closed
If you are a teacher, check out the Education section of their website, http://www.kentuckyshow.com/education/ for information on group discounts and links to educational guides related to the show. General admission tickets cost $7 and can be purchased by visiting http://www.kentuckyshow.com/default.aspx and clicking on “Showtimes & Ticketing” at the top of the page.
Members of the Louisville Free Public Library receive a $2 discount on general admission ticket prices. (And who among us isn’t a member of the LFPL?)
