If you are a Taylor Swift in Louisville and go to her concert  at the KFC Yum! Center, you will see Vance Joy open the show, but as announced today, you can also see the man behind the hit “Riptide” at Kentucky Derby Festival’s Waterfront Jam.

The free concert is set for Thursday, April 30 as a part of Kroger’s Fest-a-Ville at Waterfront Park.

Misterwives, with a hit of their own (“Reflections”) will open the show beginning at 8 p.m.

The concert is sponsored by the John R. Elliott HERO Campaign and Miller Lite, along with media partner 102.3 The Max.

Today’s announcement is just the beginning of music for the lead up to The Kentucky Derby. The Kentucky Derby Festival Waterfront Jam wll include live music on two stages at Kroger’s Fest-a-Ville featuring over 30 local and regional bands and 7 national acts beginning Thursday, April 23.  Details of all the concert acts will be released in the coming weeks.

In case you needed reminding, here are videos of the two aforementioned songs: “Riptide” by Vance Joy and “Reflections” by Misterwives.
