Finnigan Productions is currently accepting submissions for its Second Annual Festival of Funky Fresh Fun, a theatre festival celebrating local writers, actors and directors at The Rudyard Kipling, April 16-25 2009.Finnigan’s Festival of Funky Fresh Fun presents an evening of 8-10 ten-minute plays written by local writers, directed by local directors and performed by a chorus of ten local actors.
Submission guidelines are as follows:
- Play cannot be longer than ten minutes.
- Play must be written by someone who resides in the greater
- Play must be easily considered to be one or any combination of the following: Funky, Fresh or Fun.
Plays included in the festival will be paired with a local director and each individual playwright’s involvement through the rehearsal process will become as inclusive as they choose it to be.

Please include a cover letter introducing yourself and the piece, and any production history, if applicable. Submission deadline is December 31st.
2008’s Festival included plays by Tad Chitwood, Mitch Fields, James Cronin, Cisco Montgomery and Brian Walker with sketch comedy from The Indicators.
