Chartered in 1956, the Louisville Artisans Guild is Kentucky's oldest guild dedicated to the pursuit of excellence in arts and crafts.  Next weekend, November 6th and 7th, the group will be hosting its Holiday Showcase in the Highlands.

From 10am-4pm on Saturday and Sunday, visitors can see all the Guild has to offer at The American Legion Post located at 2919 Bardstown Road.  With 36 juried artists, there's something for everyone!

Guests will find arts and crafts in various mediums including painting, pottery, glass & textiles.  Jewelry and many other gifts will be available as the holiday shopping season begins!

In addition to the booths, the Guild conducts a public raffle of aftwork created by Guild members and donations from local businesses with all proceeds going to their scholarship fund, the Nelle Petterson Scholarship, given annually to a Kentucky high school Senior entering college in art.
