It was still swelteringly hot at 6:15pm yesterday when Steve Miller Band took the stage at HullabaLOU. However, Steve Miller being the old pro that he is was not effected.
The crowd and the performer were mellow. I wouldn't call this a "rockin" show, but it was a great opportunity for Steve Miller to reach a younger audience that would not normally seek him out. He played old classics and some newer songs including one he dedicated to the disasters happening in the Gulf.
