    Bit to Do

Two time platinum recording artist, Musiq Soulchild is scheduled to play today here just shortly at HullabaLOU in the down's infield.  I've been digging this guy for years, and picking up everything that he puts out over the last ten years.  Originally from Philadelphia, Musiq left high school and home at the age of seventeen to pursue his love for singing. With the release of his fifth album in 2008, Musiq is once again touring, and out on the circuit.

Last time I saw this guy play live was back in 2002 or 2003.  I can't quite remember, but he was unbelievable, real soulful, and has a great voice as well as stage presence.  He doesn't come thru this part of the country much, so if you get the opportunity, and your out at the downs, or just by your computer and can download a song or two then you need to definitely check this guy out.  Believe me, you won't be disappointed.

    About Damian Gerlach

Born and raised locally here in the Germantown neighborhood of Louisville, Kentucky. I have lived and frequented in both the Highlands and Germantown areas for the past ten years while completing my undergraduate work in communication, and graduate work in business communication from Spalding University. After the completion of both of these degrees, the most recent during the summer of 2007, I began working as a sales consultant for a large telecommunications company, as well as for a few local colleges. In 2008 I self-published my first book, "Always Coming Back," and my second late summer 2009, entitled "Bent."
