Rajon Rondo had another so-so week and Earl Clark parlayed a 10-day contract into a 2-year deal while Gorgui Dieng and Russ Smith didn’t play in a game for their respective teams.

Here’s a closer look at how Rondo and the three University of Louisville products on NBA rosters did in the 23rd week of the season.

Rondo (Dallas Mavericks): The Louisville native, former University of Kentucky standout point guard and ninth-year pro averaged eight points, six assists and 3.3 rebounds in three games for the Mavs, who went 1-2.

The mercurial Rondo had eight points, six assists and four rebounds in Dallas’ 108-101 loss to visiting Houston this past Thursday night. He was 4 for 6 from the field and had three turnovers in 23 minutes.

Rondo recorded four points, five assists and three rebounds in the Mavs’ 123-110 loss to visiting Golden State last Saturday. He was 2 for 5 from the field, including 0 of 1 from 3-point range, and 0 for 1 from the free throw line while also committing one turnover in 19 minutes.

Rondo registered 12 points, seven assists and three rebounds in Dallas’ 107-104 win over visiting Phoenix on Wednesday night. He was 6 for 9 from the field while committing one turnover in 30 minutes.

For the season Rondo is averaging 8.8 points, 5.5 rebounds and 7.9 assists per game for the Mavs (47-31), who are fourth in the Southwest Division and seventh overall in the Western Conference.

Clark (Brooklyn Nets): The sixth-year forward from UofL averaged 3.3 points and 2.3 rebounds in four games for the Nets, who went 2-2. Clark, who was originally signed to a 10-day contract March 27, signed a multi-year contract with Brooklyn, the team announced Monday.

Clark (pictured above when he played for the Lakers) went scoreless in 7 minutes in Brooklyn’s 114-109 win over visiting Toronto last Friday night. He was 0-for-2 from the field, including 0 of 1 from 3-point range, and had one rebound and one steal.

The next night Clark had 11 points and seven rebounds in the Nets’ 131-99 loss at Atlanta. He was 4 for 8 from the field, including 2 of 3 from 3-point range, and 1 of 2 from the free throw line while also registering one assist, one steal and two turnovers in 22 minutes off the bench.

Monday night Clark went scoreless in Brooklyn’s 106-96 win over visiting Portland. He didn’t attempt a shot, but had one rebound and one blocked shot in 6 minutes.

Clark tallied two points in 6 minutes in the Nets’ 114-111 loss to visiting Atlanta on Wednesday night. He was 1 for 1 from the field and also had one blocked shot.

Clark is averaged 3.4 points and 2.6 rebounds in seven games for Brooklyn (36-42), which is tied for second in the Atlantic Division and is eighth overall in the Eastern Conference.

Dieng (Minnesota Timberwolves): The second-year center from UofL missed a trio of T-Wolves’ losses (97-84 to Orlando on Friday, 116-111 at San Antonio on Tuesday and 116-91 at Portland on Wednesday) as he continued to nurse a concussion.

Dieng will miss Minnesota’s next two games, but could return for the team’s final two contests next week.

Dieng is averaging 9.7 points, 8.3 rebounds and two assists per game on the season for Minnesota (16-62), which has the worst record in the Western Conference.

Smith (Memphis Grizzlies): The rookie guard from UofL was recalled from the Iowa Energy, the Grizzlies’ NBA Development League affiliate, but wasn’t active in any of the Grizzlies’ three games - a 100-92 win over Oklahoma City, a 92-83 loss to Washington and a 110-74 victory over New Orleans - this past week.

Russdiculous, who averaged 18.1 points, 4.3 rebounds and 4.2 assists in the D-League this season, is averaging 1.4 points in nine NBA games - six with the New Orleans Pelicans and three with Memphis (53-25), which is tied for first (with Houston) in the Southwest Division and is second overall in the Western Conference.
