The Derby Festival Spring Fashion Show was first produced in 1990. Originally, the Fashion Show was conceived as a venue for the unveiling of the new Board of Director's uniforms, the teal Pegasus jacket. It was so successful, the Board of Directors decided to make it a permanent addition to the Festival schedule. Thanks to the support of the sponsors, the Derby Festival Spring Fashion Show has become THE fashion show for the spring season.
