The Kentucky Museum of Art and Craft (KMAC) and Republic Bank present two exhibitions that will appeal to holiday shoppers looking to buy unique gifts while supporting local artists. The annual favorite, Holidazzle 2009, will deliver beautiful, hand-crafted fine art, including works in jewelry, ceramics, wood, glass, fiber and more.
The Holidazzle Clay exhibit will feature a wide variety of ceramic styles and techniques, from vessels to sculpture, hand-built to wheel-thrown, traditional to avant-garde, by Louisville’s most accomplished clay artists. Both shows will be on display from October 17 – December 31, 2009, and every item is for sale, with prices ranging from $15 – $1,500.
The opening reception, which is free and open to the public, will be held Friday, October 16 from 5:00pm to 7:30pm at KMAC, 715 West Main Street.
