    Holiday Traditions

"It's Christmas time in the city", with that being said, what are some of the most popular holiday traditions? Do you go see a play as a family? We all know every year Actor's Theatre has a fabulous edition of A Christmas Carol, Kentucky Center for the Performing Arts always has an amazing rendition of the Nutcracker, and the Best Christmas Pageant Ever. Which are always classics in helping us get ready for this holiday season.

But what other traditions help us get in the holiday spirit? How about Kalighoscope Christmas at the Galt House or Breakfast with Santa? Or making Christmas ornaments at Glass Works? Do you and your family pile into the car and head out to see Light up Louisville? Are you trying something new and going to see Lights Under Louisville?

Does your neighborhood have a date where everyone house turns on their Christmas lights and has a competition to see who is the most festive?

Maybe this year, you're cash flow is a little tight so you're having an Ugly Christmas Sweater party at your house, or you headed out on Black Friday, at 4 am to do a little Christmas shopping.

Whatever you decide to do, there are tons of possibilities to get you in the Holiday spirit. Louisville does a pretty good job of having a variety of events throughout the Holiday season for people to attend, no matter what their budget is!
