Not to say that Indiana University basketball fans are the only ones in the area who like Daughtry, but if your blood runs Cardinal red or Wildcat Blue, we’ve got a good feeling about what you’ll be doing on Saturday evening. However, for everyone else, multi-platinum band Daughtry will be performing at Louisville Palace at 7:30 Saturday night.

Following a show tonight at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium, Daughtry will head north to Louisville and make the next stop on their Break the Spell tour at Louisville Palace.  Concert tour coordinators could never have foreseen the NCAA Final Four matchup between Kentucky and Louisville, but the crowd at the Palace is expected to be substantial nonetheless.

The band is led by American Idol season 5 finalist Chris Daughtry. With five American Music Award wins and three Grammy nominations, it’s safe to say that Daughtry has seen a little more success than season 5 winner Taylor Hicks. The band is currently touring to promote their third album Break the Spell. According to Billboard, Break the Spell debuted at number 8 on the Billboard 200 on November 28, 2011.

Although they are promoting their new album, fans can expect to hear some of their favorites that helped make the band famous like – What About Now, Home, Feels Like Tonight and more.

The show will start at 7:30 p.m. at Louisville Palace. Check out Chris Daughtry’s Twitter page here. As always, follow up with Louisville.com for a full review and photos after the show.
