    Bike Ride For Two
    Print this page

In case you needed another reason to love Greenhaus on Preston Avenue, they’re about to introduce a brand new and really cool idea:

    Bike Rides for Two

*. It’s a twenty-four hour bike rental, and the best part is that you can choose from either one tandem bike or two single-seaters. Along with the rental, there’s an included map of Louisville hotspots, some drinks and food, and all the necessary accouterments for a romantic day of sightseeing on two wheels.

Greenhaus will provide the bike(s), and in addition each Bike Ride for Two package will include an illustrated map of (local favorite spots) through the city, a customizable insulated picnic basket filled with goodies ranging from champagne, craft wine and beer to Cellar Door chocolates and Kenny’s Farmhouse Cheese with crackers, water, a Bluetooth speaker made for a bike, a picnic blanket, helmets, and, naturally, a high grade bike lock.  Along with the illustrated map, customers will be given a link to a google map with many great places to go all over the City.

The venture is starting with three plans, all which have their own interesting features: The Daydreamer (bike, mixed 6 pack or bottle of wine, Kenny's cheese, crackers, water, etc), The Mark Twain(same as The Daydreamer but with two tickets to the Belle of Louisville) and Love on a Bike (Champagne, Kenny's cheese, cellar door chocolates, crackers, etc).

The hand drawn map is absolutely fantastic, and features a whimsical mockup of some of the coolest and most potentially romantic places in town. With the addition of twenty-eight miles of bike paths and lanes to Louisville recently, it’s a great time to pack a picnic lunch and indulge in some meandering through town.

Customers will be able to make reservations on the Bike Ride for Two website, as well as calling Greenhaus. The plan is to book in advance for the rest of the year at launch, so if you’re interested you’d better hop to it!

*The reservation and info site isn’t live yet, but it will be very soon. Bookmark it and check back!
