Live Nation is at it again and is bringing critically acclaimed comedian Margaret Cho to The Louisville Palace on Saturday, September 20 at 8:00 p.m. along with Liam Sullivan.
Turning each into a concert film, Margaret Cho has launched four national tours over the past eight years. In 1999, Cho’s groundbreaking one-woman show, One That I Want, turned into a best selling book and a concert film, grossing more per print than any film in history. Cho’s second tour Notorious C.H.O., concluded with a sold-out show at Carnegie Hall, and in 2004 the CD of her Revolution tour was nominated for a Grammy.
Margaret Cho delivers her trademark risqué wit in her second book titled I Have Chosen to Stay and Fight and in her most recent concert film, Assassin. Cho hosted a 16-city music festival last summer, the Inaugural True Colors tour, in support of the HRC. She also created and starred in a live variety show called The Sensuous Woman, featuring vaudevillian burlesque and comedy, which she took for a successful, off-Broadway run last fall. Beautiful is Margaret Cho’s first stand-up tour in three years and is eagerly awaited by fans!
Tickets ($42.50 & $29.50) are on sale now at LiveNation.com, at the Palace box office, any Ticketmaster outlet, or by phone at 502.361.3100.
