This Friday, February 7, is the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women Day. Created as a way to bring attention to heart disease, which is the number one killer of women, people are encouraged to wear red as a show of support and increase awareness of this disease.
At the Go Red for Women website, you can find information on heart disease, prevention and even order a red dress pin for yourself.
Follow the campaign on their Facebook page and post photos of you wearing red on Twitter with the hashtag #GoRedChallenge.

Also, this Friday, as part of a partnership between the PNC Broadway series and the American Heart Association, buy a ticket to Ghost the Musical at the Kentucky Center for the arts and $10 of each ticket will be donated to help fight heart disease.
