After the recent UK NCAA basketball victory, I’m sure everyone will have enough blue attire to fit right in at tonight’s BluLu to NuLu Bash hosted by the Kentucky Center in honor of the Blue Man Group coming to perform April 10-15th. This free event, which had to be postponed due to THE tornado, is from 6-8pm and the Kentucky Center has reached out to various Louisville businesses in order to make the Bash even bigger and bluer!

You’ll know you’ve arrived when you see the fleur de lis paint spill leading up to the Blue Man sculpture right outside the Kentucky Center’s front doors. Project Blue Drum was created by students from the Visual and Performing Arts Magnet, Western Middle School, under the guidance of the Open Doors program at the Louisville Visual Art Association. This was another successful project provided by the crowd-funding platform Power2Give which is hosted locally by the Fund for the Arts. Check out Power2Give.org for other current projects that need your help in making Louisville a vibrant arts community.
