There are a ton of Easter Egg Hunts going on around Louisville (and the surrounding areas) this weekend. I've scoped out the best of the best for you and your family.

     Crescent Hill

Saturday, April 3rd at 10 am

This egg hunt takes place at the historic (and beautiful) Peterson-Dumesnil House off Frankfort Avenue.  It hunt starts promptly at 10 in the morning, and people are advised to get there early for a storytime with one of the Crescent Hill librarians (and to jockey for a prime egg hunting spot!). The Easter Egg Hunt is for children under 11 and kids will be divided into one of three simultaneous egg hunt groups based on age. Following the Easter Egg Hunt, stay for the Frankfort Avenue Easter parade!

    Tyler Park

    Saturday, April 3rd at noon

The annual Tyler Park Easter Egg hunt will begin at noon. Kids will be divided into age groups and should bring their own basket. The Easter bunny will make an appearance before the hunt as he (or is it she?) dazzles children by riding around in a large fire truck.

    Louisville Zoo

Sunday, April 4th from 11 am to 4 pm

Visit the zoo this Sunday for the "Eggstravaganza" Easter celebration. There will be some "eggstraordinary" (too much?) egg-laying animals and a scavenger hunt for kids. The hardest-working rabbit in show business, the Easter Bunny will be on hand for you to take some family photos. Be sure to bring your camera!

Joe Huber Family Farm and Restaurant

Sunday, April 4th from 11 am to 6 pm

Head to Starlight Indiana this Sunday for an Easter dinner at Huber's. The Easter Bunny will be hopping around from table to table and an Easter Egg Hunt (free with dinner) will take place at 3 pm in the Barnyard area. Dinner is $19.99 for adults and $9.99 for kids and includes biscuits, ham and homemade pies and cobblers for dessert. Call (812) 923-5255 to make a reservation.

Also, just to give you an heads up....the E.P Tom Sawyer annual Easter Egg Hunt has been canceled this year due to lack of funding to state parks. Bummer.
