George Strait will take the stage tonight at 9pm tonight in the YUM! Center. George Strait is on the second leg of his final tour: “The Cowboy Rides Away.” At 61, he has won multiple multi-platinum albums, Grammies and other accolades such as “Entertainer of the Year,” “Top Male Vocalist” for several years and “Artist of the Decade.”  Strait has also been inducted in the Country Music Hall of Fame as an American country music artist and has been in the business since 1981. By far, a living legend in country music today.

During this last tour, he has teamed up with several other well-known country music artists that are performing with him in different cities along the way and tonight he will be joined by Vince Gill, a legend in his own right.

Tonight will be bittersweet for George Strait fans as they hear the sound of twin fiddles and a steel guitar; Opry music on a Friday night in Louisville. The performance will sure to bring a tear to the eye of attendees.
