Bridesmaids find much more in common than they had realized in Five Women Wearing the Same Dress, which opens today at Bellarmine.
Five Women Wearing the Same Dress performances will go on Feb. 17, 18, 23, 24, and 25 at 8 p.m. each night. A show on Feb. 19 will happen at 7 p.m. All performances will take place in the Wyatt Center for the Arts, located at Bellarmine University at 2001 Newburg Road in the Highlands.
Tickets for the show are $10 for general admission, $5 for senior citizens, and $5 for students with identification. All tickets can be purchased at the door. More information on the show can be found at the Bellarmine theatre arts website.
Five Women Wearing the Same Dress is possible when they are all bridesmaids. The bridesmaids all meet in the room of the bride's sister and begin to chat amongst themselves. They soon figure out there's more in common between them than the bride. Alan Ball created the production, and Bethany Morse directed.
Following Five Women, Bellarmine University's theatre arts program will return with a 10-minute play festival called Madthematics. The festival will run in late March.
