    Dog Law

Regarding your story on pet legislation (“Is This Dog Dangerous?” February issue), it’s sad that, rather than do something useful to address the problems with loose and dangerous dogs in Louisville, Cheri Bryant Hamilton and her Democratic cohorts instead chose to make every pet owner in Jefferson County a potential criminal. I’m appalled that the media in this town have covered up the very real story of what happened with this ordinance, and choose instead to continue the “spin” the City Hall is dishing out. If you own any animal and live in Jefferson County, please visit www.louisvillepetlovers.com to find out how the new ordinance really affects you. You’ll be amazed at what your City Council has done!

    Missing Person

Bruce Allar’s article “Persons of the Year” (December) refers to “the duo most responsible for reviving the Louisville Orchestra after its near-bankruptcy early this year — Brad Broecker and Jorge Mester. . .” While this statement is well deserved, it should include Joe Pusateri, who also merits recognition for his efforts to put the LO on a sound financial footing. Mr. Pusateri has given extensively of his time and his money to rescue the Orchestra from bankruptcy.
