Delfino's Italian Bistro opened up last Friday to the public. It is located near Tyler Village Shopping Center at Taylorsville Road and the Gene Snyder Expressway. Technically four miles outside of Jeffersontown, the new eatery in the small shopping center on Hopewell Road (near Stone Lakes subdivision) opened for business today around lunch time. Check their Facebook page or call for regular business hours. They will have an official ribbon cutting on June 3 at 12pm.

Delfino's offers appetizers, soups, salads, lunch entrees, dinner entrees, build your own pasta, classic entrees, pizza and calzones, a kid's menu, beers, wine, and dessert selections. Check out their classic servings here. Some specials they are running are Happy Hour each Monday-Thursday, 2pm-6pm with domestic drafts for $1.99 and imports for $2.99. Every Wednesday is Kids Day, and kids eat for only $1. Kids can also have some fun making their own pizza every day. Since I love Jeffersontown, this new eatery is a great addition for a family of four like mine. We'll be checking it out soon!
