    While you’ve been busy picking your long shots for race day, we’ve put together a list of choices for restaurants off the beaten path. Sure, you’ve heard to go to Lynn’s Paradise Café for the most unique dining adventure, or maybe Wick’s for the best pizza in town, or any of the great restaurants in downtown Louisville. Here are some you may not have heard about, but are also some of the greatest eating experiences in Louisville. In the cases of these “Dark horses”, they are all sure bets!

    Wild Eggs: Now with two area locations, Jeff Rothberg brings his own family concept to this breakfast/lunch/brunch restaurants. You’ll find great homemade recipes and plenty of potato dishes… born from recipes made from scratch. But, get there before early afternoon, or you’ll miss this one of a kind eatery! It’s a perfect way to start your Oaks or Derby day… or to spend your morning after!
