91.9 WFPK has partnered with Yum! Brands
Foundation and The Kentucky Center to bring Louisville expatriate Joan
Osborne in concert to the Bomhard Theater on Wednesday, October 1 at
8pm.  Tickets are on sale now at the Kentucky Center Box Office,
    www.kentuckycenter.org <http://www.kentuckycenter.org/>  or charge by
phone at (502) 584-7777 or at the Box Office the night of the show.
Tickets for this all ages show are $30.00 or only $25.00 if you bring a
non-perishable food item to the show for Dare to Care (discounted
tickets are only valid with the food donation).  Special guest Matt
    Morris will open the show.

Joan Osborne returns to Louisville for her first hometown concert in
five years in support of her soon-to-be-released recording Little Wild
One (release date-September 9, 2008, Vanguard Records).  Osborne
reunites with her former Grammy All-Star Team.  Rick Chertoff, Rob Hyman
and Eric Bazilian last collaborated with Osborne on her six-time
Grammy-nominated breakthrough album, Relish.  "WFPK is thrilled to bring
Joan Osborne back to Louisville", says WFPK program director Stacy Owen.
"Our efforts for the concert are two-fold...to share Joan's incredible
talent and build awareness for the great work that Yum! Brands
Foundation and Dare to Care provide our community."

91.9 WFPK is proud to again support Dare to Care's mission by bringing
Osborne to town.  Her performance will showcase Yum! Brands Foundation's
commitment to fighting hunger around the globe and right here at home.

Yum! and its brands also have been committed to fighting hunger for more
than a decade by donating $50 million of prepared food annually to the
underprivileged in the United States. The company has been the primary
sponsor of the Dare to Care Food Bank in Louisville, Kentucky, donating
$1 million annually for the past seven years to feed 90,000 hungry
children in underserved minority communities.  For more information,
