The commonwealth of Kentucky and Metro Louisville are planning a community-wide celebration that coincides with all of the Ryder Cup festivities.

The activities aren’t just for golf fans, but for anyone looking for a reason to party!

You don’t need a ticket to the Ryder Cup as all activities occur away from Valhalla and are open to the general public.

From social gatherings to golf lessons to concerts, the Cup Experience highlights why Louisville loves to play party host!

Not unlike the Kentucky Derby Festival, the Cup Experience is centered around a commemorative pin that gets you into most of the Experience events for free.

These can be purchased outside of each event and at local participating retailers for $5.

Along with the events listed below, during the months of August and September, Louisville residents will notice a different look around Shelbyville Road leading to Valhalla Golf Club.

Commemorative Ryder Cup flags will hang along each side of the street as the citywelcomes its guests and prepares to host one of the world’s greatest sporting events!
