Every month the Louisville-based PR firm Crash Avenue releases a timely compilation album featuring a broad array of different artists on each issue. The best part? It's free! Following up on their holiday-theme release I Guess I'm Bloating, Future Clowns gives your new year a fresh perspective with even fresher tunes to accompany you.

Louisville band the Deloreans are featured this month with their song "Buffalo" from the album American Craze. Guitaro's "Chateau 100" kicks off with exactly the type of refreshingly gentle opener I needed from a record. Onward, past the crunchy, Camper van Beethoven style of the Yes Club, there appears to still be hope for post-emo music thanks to Montreal on Fire. Funky instances from the Deloreans and Francios Peglau's "One Minute to Midnite Dream" keep the compilation light-hearted enough to enjoy socially. For the closer, Washington-based artist Horses ties the final knot with a dreamy meditation for the wintertime.
