    The Louisville Orchestra-presented Bartok Concerto for Orchestra is set to take place at Kentucky Center on Thursday and Friday.

    Both performances will take place in Whitney Hall at the Kentucky Center for the Arts, located at 501 West Main Street in downtown Louisville.  The first performance on Thursday, March 25, at 10:30 a.m., will happen as the Treyton Oak Towers Coffee Concert Bartok Concerto for Orchestra.  The second performance, on Friday, March 26, at 8 p.m. will be the Hilliard Lyons Classic Bartok Concerto for Orchestra.

    For the Coffee Concert, tickets will range from $20 to $40.  For the Classics Concert, tickets range in price from $25 to $75.  Tickets can be purchased at the Kentucky Center for the Arts box office or on the Kentucky Center website.  More information about Bartok Concerto can be found on the Louisville Orchestra website, which is www.louisvilleorchestra.org

    The programs will include Jorge Mester as conductor and Jack Griffin on viola.  Hector Berlioz's Harold in Italy and Bela Bartok's Concerto for Orchestra will be performed in the 90 minute performances.
