This weekend, July 30-31st is the St. Therese Catholic Picnic at 1101 E Kentucky Street in the Highlands. Come out and join in on the festivities and the fun as the picnic continues the traditional weekend celebrations of music, food, games, booths and community gathering! With games and fun for the kids, and entertainment for the adults, this picnic is a perfect family night out!

On Friday night, July 30th, starting at 5 PM, come on out for fish and brats and a Texas Hold ‘Em Tournament. Starting at 7 PM, the poker game requires a $60 buy-in for all interested parties. For a $5 chance, the Capital Prize includes a grand prize of $2000 and 2nd place will receive a 42-in flat screen TV.

The picnic continues on through Saturday with a chicken dinner starting at 4 pm and finishing up at 8 pm. Come on out early to check out the music, booths and other entertainment!

As the Catholic Picnic season is well-underway and the biggest one in the city, St. Joe’s, slated for August, this is the perfect chance to get a dose of community, benefits, beer and food! Be sure to stop by and enjoy the summer heat with some of your closest friends at the St Therese Picnic!
