What better place to spend New Year's then at a Louisville landmark. The Brown Hotel has been around for nearly 90 years and there's no better time to find out why then New Year's Eve.

According to assistant general manager Guy Genoud in a recent press release, guests have the option to choose from several different room packages.

The New Year's Eve room package for two includes your choice of overnight accommodations, valet parking, sparkling wine and romantic dipped strawberries.

According to the release, one can sleep in and enjoy the sumptuous New Years day breakfast buffet in J. Grahams Cafe.

Guests also have the option to attend the New Year's Eve English Grill Gala, where executive chef, Laurent Geroli and his four-diamond culinary staff will be offering soup, appetizer, entree selections of pan seared arctic turbot, roast beef tenderloin or sauteed duck magret, salad, dessert and a midnight champagne toast.

The party is also to include party favors, live music from a three-piece jazz band and dancing. The cost is $121 a person plus tax and a 30 percent gratuity fee. Dinner seating times are at 8, 8:30, 9 and 9:30 pm.
