Arctic Monkeys have just announced that they will be stopping in our fair city on June 14th!!! This is huge folks, really huge. Supporting last year's release 'AM', this is an amazing blessing for us all. Arctic Monkeys are maybe one of the best things to come out of England since the ability to find HP sauce in the US, but their unique sound has influenced bands all over the globe and comes from an era most of us never imagined. Bit of punk, bit of rock and roll, bit of shut the hell up already, they are an amazing bunch with a stellar resume.
In support, White Denim makes a return since their stellar performance at Zanzabar and this show should be amazing.
Information is limited at this point, but according to their nerdbook page tickets will go on sale Friday or Saturday. I'll try and keep you posted as more information becomes available but screw everything else you were going to spend money on this weekend and get these tickets. Show is on a Saturday and it's going to be FUN!
