    Boyd Martin in the lead on the first day of dressage competition at Rolex Kentuc

    On Thursday, April 26, Boyd Martin, from the United States, and his mount Remington XXV take the early lead in day one of the dressage competition at the Rolex Kentucky 3-Day Event. They were placed first by all three judges with a score of 45.3.

    Standing in second place is Karen O’Connor, also from the United States, riding Veronica with a score of 47.8.

    Andrew Nicholson, of New Zealand, is in third place riding Calico Joe with a score of 48.7.

    Another rider from the United States, Becky Holder, sits in fourth place riding Courageous Comet with a score of 48.8.

    Day two of the dressage competition continues on Friday, April 27 starting at 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The cross country phase will be on Saturday with the show jumping phase on Sunday.
