Dunbar& Bryant Art Studio is celebrating a marvelous trip to the south of France with a showing of lovely, new, little oil paintings inspired by the beauty of French landscapes, markets, and hill towns. These small gems, rendered through the exuberant artistic styles of Lynn Dunbar and Catherine Bryant, will be on display throughout the month of November, and a reception will be held on December 6th, from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., during the Christmas on Frankfort Avenue event.
While visiting the south of France, artists Dunbar and Bryant visited Casis and St. Remy, basking in the beauty of the Provence region. Working in Plein Air, much as the great Impressionist artists of the 19th century who were inspired by the same beauty and magnificence of the French countryside, the two artists have conjured up the atmosphere and grace of charming hill towns and sweeping landscapes. Their vibrant and dynamic depictions are sure to charm and to sweep viewers away to the gorgeous and poetic land of Provence.
These exuberant and evocative “Postcards from Provence” will be on display at the Dunbar & Bryant Art Studio, 2003 Frankfort Avenue, Louisville, KY, 40206, throughout the month of November. The gallery will be open on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 11 p.m. to 3 p.m. and also by appointment. A joyous reception will be held at the gallery on December 6th from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Any inquires, please call Lynn @ (502) 905-5966 or Catherine @ (502) 458-1247.
Come and be transported to the French countryside with “Postcards from Provence!”
