Blue Apple Players, a nonprofit theater company, is proud to announce its 2008 summer workshop schedule for local students entering kindergarten through grade 12.
“We offer young people a nurturing and non-competitive environment for exploring drama,” says Blue Apple Players Education Director Heather Burns. “Our focus is on building skills while having fun. If your children already like to act or want to learn, these workshops are for them!”
The workshops are each offered for one or two weeks and take place at the Crescent Hill United Methodist Church , located at 201 South Peterson Avenue . Classes are designed for both new and continuing students and focus on developing the tools of the actor: body, voice and imagination. To ensure personal attention, space is limited to 16 participants with two teaching artists per class. For details about workshop content and to enroll your child, please contact Blue Apple Players at (502) 587-7990 or log on to www.blueappleplayers.org.
