With classes offered for every age, even classes before your baby turns one year old, the Louisville Ballet School offers dance at every age. Elena Diehl, director of the Louisville Ballet school, danced for three seasons with the Louisville Ballet Company. Studios are located downtown on Main Street and in St. Matthews on Shelbyville Road.

360 Dance Studio located on Plantside Drive offers everything from ballet, competitive hip-hop and jazz with classes starting at age three. Ashley Flaker, owner and choreographer, has won nearly 35 national championships in dance since 1997.

Absolute Dance Studio, which opened in 2006, enrolls students starting at age three. Owner Melissa York uses her experience from the Louisville Ballet Company and the Broadway Dance Center in New York to guide students in learning the basics of dance and competing in dance competitions.
4. Elite Academy of Dance and Performing Arts
Elite Academy, located on LaGrange road, offers dance classes of every type, starting with ‘Mommy and Me’ classes for children 18 months to three years old. Jennifer Viers, artistic and creative director, opened her own studio so that her students might also know the joy of dancing.
