Calling all beer-lovers, it's time to help bring a new and exciting single-barrel brewery, LouBrew, to the Louisville beer scene.
Louisvillian, Jeremy Rathfon, is pursuing his dream of creating a local single-barrel brewery, called LouBrew, to the Schnitzelburg area of Louisville's Germantown neighborhood.
Seven years of home-brewing experience, paired with a PhD in Engineering has Rathfon on a mission to make his dreams come true. Through the online community-based fundraising site called Kickstarter, he has established a campaign for LouBrew aimed at raising $30,000 by July 22nd.
LouBrew’s locally oriented mission, aims at providing a continually rotating variety of unique recipes to satisfy every Louisville beer connoisseur's appetite. Examples of such delicious brews include: Cuvée Noire, a black Belgian style strong ale aged in a pinot noir wine barrel; Pirâte Booté, an American stout spiced with grains of paradise, cardamom, and whole licorice root, aged in a spiced rum cask; and La Diable Blanche, a Belgian style wheat beer featuring coriander, whole chamomile flower, and sweet orange and grapefruit zest.
Want to help? You can join us at Boombozz Highlands Taphouse on Thursday, July 21st 5pm to close [reference above flyer for additional details]. Did I mention I'll be live tweeting also?
