    The
    Louisville Bats are pleased to announce that they are teaming up with Town
    Planner Kentuckiana, BB&T and UPS in a joint fundraising effort benefiting
    local area charities.  Sales of the official 2009 Louisville Bats calendar will
    assist the Toys for Tots Literacy Program, Cedar Lake Lodge and Blessings in a
    Backpack.

    The calendar is available (while
    supplies last) at all 30 area BB&T branch locations and
    participating locations of The UPS Store.   The cost of the calendar
    is $10 with more than 60% of the revenue being split between the three
    charities.  Participating area retailers such as Sparklebrite, Prestige
    Car Wash, Pacific Cleaners, Ten Pin Lanes, USA Print Brokers, Ink & Toner,
    Louisville Athletic Club, Assured Auto Care, Blue Chip Furniture, Planet BeachConway's
    Cake & Candy are offering free products or services to those purchasing a
    calendar for a combined value of over $140.

    Along with the 2009 Louisville Bats
    schedule, the calendar also contains Jefferson, Clark,
    Floyd and Oldham
    County
    school schedules as well as important local phone numbers.

    The Bats will begin their 10th
    anniversary season at Louisville Slugger Field at home on Thursday, April 9
    versus the Columbus Clippers, Triple-A affiliate of the Cleveland Indians, at 7:05
    p.m.   Full and partial season tickets are available by calling the
