Anthrax http://anthrax.com continue to prove they are Heavy Metal masters. The band, with original singer Joey Belladonna, return to Louisville with Testament and special guest Death Angel Sunday, January, 29 at Expo Five for an all ages show. Anthrax shows the Metal world they still have it with their new album Worship Music. Worship Music has received praises of music critics world wide and been touted as one of the best Metal albums of 2011. This album is a work that pays respect to the men that inspired the band. The song, "In The End" is a tribute to Dimebag Darrell of Pantera and Ronnie James Dio. "I have great respect for good musicians and good song writers and people that are nice.I loved Ronnie very much and I loved Dimebag. They are both dear to us as friends and we miss them very much but it was just nice to be able to sing a song to them, to sing a song with meaning" said Belladonna.
After 30 years of banging out hard, thrashing Metal, Belladonna said he hasn't noticed much change in the crowd or Metal scene. He said,  "The big thing is to see the older fans still sticking by us and liking us and loving what we do and then, you get the new crowd the younger fans, a new generation" Anthrax is bringing Heavy Metal to the next generation while stepping up their game with the hard hitting Worship Music album.

Anthrax, Testament and special guest Death Angel will perform an all ages show at Expo Five http://www.expofive.com Sunday January 29, 2012 7:30 PM (doors open at 7:00 PM) Tickets $25
