Artist, Meredith Hayden of Louisville is currently showing at Heine Brother's Coffee Shop on Douglas Loop. She transforms the softness of watercolor and pastel painting into stunning works which identify the beauty of a moment. 'Art has always been my passion, though it has bloomed in many ways over the course of my life. These flowers symbolize each of us and our Meredith is a well-known figure in the Highlands neighborhood. She began her studies at NYU for acting. She earned a degree from Uof L with a concentration in Art as part of a Liberal Studies degree. Over the past 5 years she has studied with Joyce Sweet-Bryant at Preston Arts Center and Jenni Deamer privately. She currently teaches an art program called Young Rembrandts to kids at various schools and community organizations. Meredith has shown at Chez Moi Art Gallery, Art for the Animals, Women's Club of Louisville, Hopscotch House (Kentucky Foundation of Women), Breadworks, City Cafe, Day's Coffee, Starbucks, Riverb/files/storyimages/Winery, Mellwood Arts Center, Full Moon Yoga Studio/Fat Friday, League of Women Voters, Belknap Neighborhood Festival, Logos Coffee Shop, Louisville Arts Council, many holiday art shows and music festivals.
