You may have already seen these specialty cars driving around the city as the event comes to town. The vehicles come in all colors and styles, and you won’t see... or hear two that are exactly alike!

According to the NSRA (National Street Rod Association), the definition of a street rod is: An automobile of 1948 or earlier manufacture which has undergone some type of modernization, to include any of the following; engine, transmission, interior refinements, and any other modifications the builder desires.

For those unfamiliar with street rods… you’ll hear them long before you see them with their extremely loud engines!
Known as the largest street rod event in the world, not only does this gathering bring in over 11,000 cars, but also 30,000 enthusiasts from across the country.

While the event appeals to the biggest street rod spectators, there will also be activities for the entire family including commercial exhibitors and a swap meet along with children’s games.

Special guests for the event include Chip Foose, Stacey David, Mike DelVisco, Jay & The Americans, Larry Gatlin & the Gatlin Brothers, and the "Grave Digger" Monster Truck.

The show wraps up on Sunday, August 3rd at 3 pm and tickets are $14 for adults. Doors open up for the event each morning at 8 am and close at 5:00 on Thursday, 6:00 on Friday and 7:00 on Saturday.
