24th Annual Christmas Gift & Decor Show returns December 7-9

The 24th annual Christmas Gift & Décor Show is this weekend, Friday, December 7 - Sunday, December 9 at the Kentucky Exposition Center. Hours of operation are Friday, 11am-8pm, Saturday, 10am-8pm, and Sunday, 11am-5pm. Admission is free!

This three day show will be housed in the South Wing and features over 750 booths and vendors from across the nation. The show is co-sponsored by WHAS-TV and the Crusade For Children. Shoppers will find a huge variety of items at the show including Christmas crafts, jewelry, toys, dolls, holiday party supplies, and plenty of other gifts and accessories. My sister and I have attended in the past and picked up a gift for a handful of people on our lists. It’s a great one-stop-shop experience. I personally love the handmade ornaments that can be customized. I have quite a collection on my tree that has been given traditionally to my family almost every Christmas.

If you haven’t had a chance in the first week of December to have your child’s picture taken with Santa, you’ve just heard of another chance. Or maybe, like me, you need a better one because the first one just didn’t take right. Well, the first 500 kids each day will receive a free photo with Santa Claus. The pictures are reserved for those 12 and under and the child must be accompanied with a parent.  For those train lovers both young and old, enjoy the wonderful display of toy trains and other added attractions throughout the weekend.
