    17th Annual Veterans Day Program: A tribute in Jeffersontown

    This Veteran's Day, pay homage to veterans and active duty military at this annual tradition hosted by the city of Jeffersontown and the American Legion G.I. Joe Post #244. Veterans and their families, military families, and the general public are invited as those who paid the sacrifice and continue to serve our country are honored on this national holiday.

    The schedule includes:
    • A patriotic music program by the Enspirit Quire

    • In Command of Ceremonies - Commander Kurt Hall, American Legion G.I. Joe Post #244

    • The keynote speaker will be Major Allen D. Broussard, USMC (ret.) Former Senior Marine Instructor, JMROTC, Fern Creek Traditional High School

    • A dedication of “Fallen Warriors Bronze Battle Cross” honoring all who gave the supreme sacrifice

    In case of inclement weather, the service will be held inside the Jeffersontown Community Center next door to the park.

    Jeffersontown Veterans Memorial Park is located at 10707 Taylorsville Road.
