    About Me:
As a full time, board-certified music therapist, I get the privilege of using music to help and inspire others on a daily basis. I also perform in the community as a musician and songwriter. If I'm not out playing music, then I'm out enjoying it! You should too!
    What I Love About Louisville:
Although I am originally from the UK city of Lexington, my heart truly lies in the ‘weird’ streets and neighborhoods of the ville. I am continually proud of all that our humble and artsy city has to offer - from its magnificent parks, rich architectural homesteads, and abundance of unique trendy local businesses; to its vibrant art galleries, brilliant museums, and its plethora of live music. Between the late nightlife and the city being located on the western border of the Eastern Time zone, us Louisvillians get the benefit of longer days. Our city embraces diversity and culture, ethnic foods and distinctive thrift stores, healthy eating and active lifestyles, timeless antiques mixed with modern trends, …. We embrace the ‘weird.’ Most cities have a Starbucks on every corner, while we host our own local coffee houses. In many cities, even the major bookstore chains are disappearing, but we still shop at our local Carmichaels Bookstore and Reader's Corner. Most cities haven’t seen a blockbuster in years, but we still get our old-fashioned movie rental fix at the Wild and Wooly Video. We celebrate all that is local - farmers markets, wineries, bands, musicians, bars, restaurants, the Louisville Orchestra, Actors Theatre, the Louisville Ballet, the Derby, our very own Frederick Olmsted Park, the Big Four Bridge, University of Louisville sporting events, and our Triple A minor League Baseball team. There’s so much to enjoy, and to keep on enjoying about our weird city.
