Gisselle was born and raised in Michigan, making the move to the 502 in 2010 to swim for the University of Louisville. After retiring four years later with an All-American title, she graduated and delved into other passions in her life, such as social media consulting and freelance writing. She is funnier on paper.
What I Love About Louisville:
I moved to Louisville in 2010 from a small city in Michigan. I desperately craved all the aspects of a metropolitan area and fell in love with the city instantly as the deep and varied restaurant scene was probably my first passion in Louisville. I guess the best way to describe it is that we are a constantly evolving city, always adapting and adopting new things but never losing our rich past.
