High Liquors, the world's first full line of ultra premium spirits, including vodka, rum, whiskey, and tequila, has launched in select cities in Tennessee and Kentucky with plans of expanding to 10 more states by the end of the year. Best friends and co-founders, Brad Wright and Chris Lawson, developed the concept to fill a niche for a full premium liquor product line under one brand.

Gordon Food Service (GFS) saves more than $50,000 worth of food from spoilage at Sullivan University during the power outage following the August 13th storm which threatened culinary school's food supplies. GFS should now stand for "Good For Sullivan".

I know the title has something to be desired and can use a little finesse, but this is a continuation of "Coupleville v.4" wherein I asked for suggestions from all of you readers out there for my wife's birthdaypalooza, and in the profound words of Keanu Reeves, "Whoa..." Thanks to everyone for particpating, and in my own catch-phrases: "Holey Bigoley & Mama Pajama!" It's only going to get better (at least reading:).

This year, with the lack of previous local major music festivals such as Hullabaloo and Forecastle - Bonnaroo celebrates it's 10th anniversary and there's no shortage of musicians, artists, and local Louisvilleians who plan to attend just across our southern border. If you don't go, you'll never know. And if you've been, you'll go again. I am.

Derby, Drinks, and a gala night with parties at The Mint Jubilee and Playboy with friends, bands and my wife. No way of topping my night before The Kentucky Derby... at least until next year.

There's Derby parties, then there are Derby parties! You may lose a wager at the track this year on Kentucky Oaks Day, but are guaranteed a great time this year at The Mint Jubilee. It's not cheap, but a wager is easier to stomach when you know why you lost and this way you walk away well-fed. After all, who can trust a horse, of course, of course. And horses are notoriously bad chefs.

Dating can be expensive and as fun as a trip to Fiji for a bachelor party, but more times than not the trip is followed with only good story mixed with buyer’s remorse and a shortage of coin. It’s hard enough to find a person who you find attractive and whose company you enjoy and also is willing to give you the benefit of the doubt for a second date.
