The University of Kentucky football team will be spending their New Year’s Eve in Nashville for the second year in a row. Normally, the Bowl Committees don’t like to ext/files/storyimages/repeat invitations in consecutive years. But, with UK ’s fans traveling so well, the Gaylord Hotel Music City Bowl representatives knew it was a chance to also sell out the game for the second consecutive year.

When an accident injured Lisa Domek leaving her homebound and down-and-out, it was a puppy from the Kentucky Humane Society that saved the day. She recalls the day that her husband heard about the pup and brought him home as a surprise hoping to lift her spirits. “I always say that it was Kennedy who rescued me and not the other way around,” says Lisa.
