Updates to two bus stops are planned in this targeted crowdfunding effort. Neighborhood residents and folks who want to encourage public and alternate transportation will want to join this project. Act quickly!
Effective last Sunday, TARC cut or changed several routes around town.
On Monday, July 4, 2011, Sunday schedules will be operated on all lines due to the holiday.
TARC will provide service to Churchill Downs for the Kentucky Oaks and Derby on regular routes that will follow detours away from the track starting at about 4:30 p.m. on both race days.
After big events at the KFC Yum! Center, TARC will
keep buses off Main and Market streets near the arena to avoid heavy
traffic. TARC passengers will be directed to boarding areas several
blocks away and additional buses will be added to some routes.
Four routes will take you within walking distance of the track on Oaks and Derby days
