The Columbus Clippers completed their sweep of the Louisville Bats by winning both games of Sunday's doubleheader between the two teams. Columbus won the first game 7-1 and the second 4-2.
The host Toledo Mud Hens bombed the Louisville Bats 13-8 Tuesday night in their first of six straight games away from Louisville Slugger Field.
The Louisville Bats, the top minor league affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds, open their season Thursday night. They host Toledo at 6:35 p.m. at Louisville Slugger Field.
