Graham Shelby

Graham Shelby is an essayist and storyteller who writes for various outlets, including: the Courier-Journal, Kentucky.com, The Tennessean and his own online health and fitness journal - blog213.com

What he’s reading:

“Moby Dick—I really am. I just got a Kindle and learned I could order classics for free, so I decided to finally read Moby Dick. It's a long journey of a book, but like the white whale, "(it) tasks me," and is grand and beautiful in its own way. Have you read it - or Ahab's Wife, by Louisville's own Sena Jeter Naslund? I read that a few years ago and it's had the odd effect of making Moby Dick feel like a prequel.”
