Louisville filmmaker Craig Everett Earl's horror slasher “Intrusion” has been released on DVD and Blu-Ray in the U.S. and Canada into stores like Best Buy, Walmart and on Amazon.com (distributed by SGL [4] Entertainment.) Fans can also buy the movie via the website [5]. The film will see a theatrical premiere at Village 8 Theaters on November 1 at 7:15 p.m. It stars Louisville-based actress Katie Stewart ("Overtime," "Revelation Trail"), Lee Haycraft and Teresa Lawrence ("Ace Venture Jr," "Beethoven's Big Break.")
"Intrusion" is a character-driven thriller where everything has consequences, and something as innocuous as a rose can be turned into a woman’s worst nightmare. In the movie, lead character Holly Jensen leads an over-dramatic life, trying to avoid her problems and forget the past. Her best friend Kali suggests a game called "wrong number" to make her feel better, but the man on the other end of their prank call plays a sinister game of his own.
The DVD and Blu-Ray are loaded with special features that include the trailer, commentary with the cast and crew, a photo gallery "behind the screams," and a sneak peek at the film's upcoming sequel "Intrusion: Disconnected," which is expected in 2016. The sequel stars scream queen Tiffany Shepis.
