    The Last Days of Judas Iscariot

    January 14 – 29, every Friday and Saturday
    The Alley Theater is simmering to bring you this wild and haunting portrayal of the trial of Judas. The play is a trial told using flashbacks to an imagined childhood and portrays lawyers who call for the testimonies of such witnesses as Mother Teresa, Caiaphas, Sigmund Freud and Satan. The original off-Broadway production was directed by Philip Seymour Hoffman and starred such greats as Sam Rockwell and Eric Bogosian! It has been called "funny, profound and wildly entertaining" by the Hollywood Reporter.

    Healthy Happy Hour Meditation

    Then the “Healthy Happy Hour” meditation may just be what you need!  Join Rebecca Geracitano and unwind with a short social and snack, followed by a guided meditation, and wrapping up with a relaxed sharing and discussion session.  The theme of January’s meditation is “Letting In The New.”

    Joining with others in meditation is a powerful way to connect with the Divine within, and share that with world around us. 

    New to meditation?  No worries!  Whether you’re beginner or an old hand, this workshop is for you!  Chairs will be provided; if you’d be more comfortable on the floor, feel free to bring a mat or cushion to sit on.

    $5 donations are appreciated, but not required.

    Beginner Blacksmith Class

    Instructed by artist/blacksmith Craig Kaviar in his studio, students will get hands on experience working on coal, natural gas, and a unique waste vegetable oil forge.  While learning basic techniques students will make simple items for themselves including J hooks, nails, leaves, and a forge welded fireplace poker.  Classes run for five consecutive Saturdays from 9am until Noon and are limited to ten students.  Please contact Kaviar Forge & Gallery for an application.
