Actors Theatre presents A Christmas Story

Ralphie returns after last year's sold-out run!

In this Christmas adventure like no other, young Ralphie Parker's fervent campaign for a Red Ryder BB gun unfolds despite a chorus of worries ("You'll shoot your eye out!") and amid seasonal shenanigans involving a leg lamp, a bunny suit and a tongue stuck to a frozen flagpole. Relive a family tradition or start one anew with this stage adaption of the beloved film, inspired by Jean Shepherd's classic American stories about Christmas—and growing up—in the Midwest.

Get the Led Out: The American Led Zeppelin

Is it rock and roll sacrilege to suggest that Get The Led Out is better at playing Zeppelin than Zeppelin? Not for the Philadelphia Inquirer, which overheard excited fans saying just that at a recent concert. Dubbed The American Led Zeppelin, these heavy metal vets put on a show that will transform Whitney Hall into a hard rock temple. With their meticulous musicianship and all-out electric showmanship, Get The Led Out is both an amazing tribute to a legendary band and a phenomenal experience in its own right.

Derby City Roller Girls vs. Gem City Roller Girls

The Derby  are taking on the ladies from Gem City Roller Girls of Dayton Ohio. Where? Manslick Rollerdrome located at 721 Gagel Ave. Louisville, KY 40216. Doors open at 6:00 with the bout starting at 7:00. Sponsored by BBC serving BBC Heartbreaker Ale. Also by Dr. Hurm, DMD keeping your favorite roller girls teeth covered and protected. Come share the fun in this family friendly event. What is roller derby? Roller derby consists of two teams of five skaters each on the track. Each team has one scoring player called a jammer, who starts at the back and wears a star on her helmet. The rest of the skaters are called blockers, and they form a pack. The blockers get a head start on the jammers when the first whistle is blown; the jammers start sprinting at the sound of the second whistle. The jammers have to get through the pack and back around another lap before they can start scoring. On their second and future trips through, they get a point for every opponent they pass. Everyone else tries to stop the other teams' jammer from passing while helping their own jammer through. The team with the most points at the end of the bout wins. What this means for you? Fun, action and excitement! All tickets and seating are general admission. Seats available on first come, first serve basis. Tickets are non refundable!! For groups of 10 or more there is a discount price of $7.00 per individual ticket. Please send e-mail to inquire. Children under 6: Free, Ages 7-12: $5 in advance, Adults $9 in advance. Suicide seating for 18+ only is strictly enforced. The ticket holder assumes all risk incidental to the game of roller derby whether occurring prior to, during, or after the bout. Including (but not exclusively) the danger of being injured by or in connection with any participant of the bout. Ticket holder agrees Derby City Rollergirls is not liable for any resulting injuries. THIS IS NOT A BYOB EVENT. Beer available for purchase to 21+ with ID. Water fountains on-site; soda and foodstuffs--as well as DCRG merchandise--available for cash purchase. Rollergirls rated PG-13 for short skirts and strong language; parental guidance suggested. Our bouts our very loud, and our fans are very excited. If you have small children who do not tolerate noise - this may not be the best place for them. Notes Seating first come first sit, tickets are non refundable.
