    Older
    persons – and their adult children – can learn about defensive driving
    techniques, new traffic laws, and rules of the road at an AARP driver
    safety program from 4-8 p.m. Thursday, March 25 at Baptist Hospital
    East on the Rehabilitation unit. The class will also cover making
    adjustments for common age-related changes in vision, hearing, and
    reaction time. For more information, or to reserve a seat, call the

    $12 for AARP members; $14 for non-members. Participants may pay in cash
    or by check on the day of the class.

    own art glass chip and dip bowl. Each student will make their own tray
    by layering decorative components on top of a base piece of glass. The
    glass will then be formed in to a functional piece of art. No previous
    glass working experience is necessary. Piece may be picked up one week
